Bharathidasan University B. Ed Programmer for Distance EducationThe name Bharathidasan University was named after a great Tamil poet Bharathidasan. This university was stared in February 1982. In the year 2006-07 the university had a great amount of success and almost had a top rank in Tiruchirappalli region. The Bharathidasan University is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The Bharathidasan University has a striking record of holding its five stars rating for more than 10 years. Campus area is spread across 1000 acres on land and beside this campus they have many small campuses in city. Namely Khajamalai housing Department of Economics, Department of Computer Science, the Bharathidasan University Technology Park (BUTP), Department of Education technology. The Department of Bharathidasan Institute of Management is one of the best Business Schools of the Country.
Eligibility for B.Ed.:-
If the candidate wants an admission in B. Ed in Bharathidasan University then he has to follow some rules.
Rule1. The other way of taking admission in this course is either you possess a 2 years of Diploma in teaching Education or 2 years of Foundation Course Certificate or 2 years Bachelor Preparatory Program conducted by State Government or by any recognized Universities.
Rule2. If the candidate is a P.G holder he will be considered for Indian Culture, Economics and Commerce, Philosophy, Psychology, Political Science and Home Science. He must score 50% marks in entrance exam to get admission in this course.
Rule3. The students who have obtained marks in the following subjects are applicable to join the B. Ed course.
OC: 60%
BC: 46%
MBC/DNC: 43%
SC/ST both physically and visually challenged Candidates: 40%.
Selection:-
The selection of candidates is done by an entrance exam and each candidate who wants to join B. Ed course must pass this entrance exam with more than 50% marks.
