University of Kerala B.Ed Admission
The University of Kerala was established in 1937 by the Maharaja of the Travancore by Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma under the name of University of Travancore. In 1957 under the act of Kerala University, it’s brought under the name of Kerala University. University has three campuses in three different parts of Kerala. This campus locates at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode. University offers different courses like MBA, Engineering, and Medical etc. This all courses are available in different faculties.
Kerala University also offers Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) course. This course is of one year and has two semesters. This course is directly conducted by the University. The detail information about the admission procedure of B. Ed. Programme is mention below.
Eligibility Criteria:
To get admission in the University the candidate must be the Indian citizen. There is no upper limit for the B. Ed. Course. The candidate must have to posses B. Sc., B. A. or any other equivalence graduate degree from Bangalore University or any other recognized University in India with minimum of 50% aggregated marks. 3% concession is provided in the marks for the candidates who are belonging from the socially and educationally backward communities. The candidate must be physically fit to make the eligibility in the admission process.
Admission Procedure:
To get admission for this course in University candidate must have to give the entrance examination which is conducted by the Kerala University. The admission process is carried out by considering individuals performance in the entrance test. The application forms for the admissions are available on line.
