Bangalore University was formed on 10 July 1964 as the federal unit with command extended for a greater Bangalore city. Originally, the university was assembled around two foremost centers for learning, The University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and The Central College. With the proliferation of Karnataka State Universities’ law, 1975, which aimed to bring uniform law to all Universities of the State, university lost its central character and became the affiliating university, who offers regular as well as correspondence courses through Distance education.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate needs to have Indian citizenship. To be eligible in admission process, the candidate must posses B. A., B.
