The university is formed in 1922 by the act of central legislative Assembly. The university is prime university in country. The university is located at Delhi, India and the university have three affiliated colleges in 1922 these are city Ramdas College, Hindu college and St. Stephens College. The university is offers post graduate and under graduate courses. They ranked at 371 in the whole world in 2010. Mohammad Hamid Ansari vice president of India is the chancellor of the university. The university every year gives two lakh twenty thousand admissions. In 1933 university is library is shifted to viceregal lodge estate and now day some of administrative work is done in this place. Central institute of education is referred as faculty of education Delhi University. The universities provide Bachelor of education.
Eligibility for Bed Entrance examination:
Candidate must complete graduation from recognized university or from any University grant commission recognized university with 55 % marks.
Admission procedure:
The application forms are available at the central institute of education or selected branches of state bank of India. Selection procedure:
The selection of candidate is done on the basis of Entrance examination. Selected candidate are called for personal interview after that selection of candidate is strictly based on the communication skill.
General information:
The course will give the candidate knowledge on teaching method and the different aspects related with teaching. The university gives admission to the student in different colleges affiliated with Delhi University.
