Bharathiar University Distance Education was recognized in the year 1991-92. The Bharathiar University Distance Education recognizes the candidates and enters to the direct personal contact by PCP (Personal Contact Programs) offices in the Coimbatore. Bharathiar University Distance Education is the prestigious and unique research centers or station student centers to different courses as well as organizing personal contact classes to theory as well as practice for their premises recording by the experienced teachers. Personal contact class completely equipped for covering curriculum as well as more computer-oriented hands for training. The B.Ed course has duration of 2 years. 

Eligibility 

• Two years of full time teaching experience for temporary or permanent basis like primary, graduate, or post graduate teachers in the primary, matriculation, secondary, or higher secondary school acknowledged by central or state government.

• The necessary teaching experience for two years has to be completed before last date of application submission.

• The teacher must be at service at for submitting the application.

• The teacher must have secured minimum adequate marks in Bachelor’s degree give below GC – 50%, MBC – 43%, BC – 45%, and SC – 40%. 

• The teacher must have passed in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 study pattern, as well as passed school level exams, organized by CBSE or any individual state board or other recognized board for education, or test as well as undergraduate degree exams, organized by the UGC recognized universities, for any of school subjects provided by Directorate of School Education at Secondary or level of Higher Secondary Education, included as the optional subject.

Application Procedure

The application form, as well as prospectus may be received from School of Distance Education, at Bharatiar University, in Coimbatore – 641046, on submitting the request with Demand Draft (crossed) from any Nationalized Bank. The amount is Rs.500/- drawn favoring to the Director, School of Distance Education, to be paid at Coimbatore. The amount may be paid through Karur Vaishya Bank, SBI, and Bank of India Challan with cost of application.
