Mother Teresa women’s university is encouraged in the year 1984 by Tamil Nadu government. It is situated at Kodailkanal, in Tamil Nadu, in India. This university is recognized by Tamil Nadu act 15. This university is also providing courses in the distance mode. Mother Teresa Women’s University’s school of distance education was started in the year 1988. This university has affiliation through UGC (University Grants Commission), and was attributed with the B++ grade by the NAAC in the year 2007. The main aim of this university is to support quality education for women at all the levels, to put in for women for development, to perform research facilitating and women policies. The university also begins the distance education in the year 1988 and this university provides undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs. 

Eligibility 

The applicant must complete the graduation or the post graduation from any recognized university, having at least 55 % marks.

Admission Procedure

Application form for the B.Ed admission can be obtained through university personally, or download application forms through university’s official website. Fill in the application form and send to registrar office at Mother Teresa University, having document as well as one Xerox Copy, and need to be submitted at the Principal. The duration of this B.Ed course is of one year.

Selection procedure

The university is usually conducting the Entrance examination for Bed admission. The selection of the candidates is made through the score attained in the entrance test by candidate.
