Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University is known as SNDT University. The university is founded in 1896 and Located at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. And main headquarter at churchgate. They have 4 campuses one is at pune and second one is at churchgate, santacruz juhu and palghar. The university has colleges at goa, Gujarat, Assam and Maharashtra. The university is affiliated by university grant commission. The university has more than seventy thousand student. SNDT Woman University has 11 faculties, 38 university department, and 26 colleges. Eligibility for BEd Entrance test: 

Candidate must complete 10th and 12th examination from CBSE board or from recognized university. Candidate must complete graduation or post-graduation from the following subjects Biochemistry, environmental sciences, applied chemistry, geography, history, English, mathematics, physics, Botany, zoology etc.

Admission procedure:

The student get admission form from recognized center and submit the form before due date. The students who get minimum 50 per cent marks from the entrance examination are eligible for Bed admission.They give admission to the student on the basis of merit. Selected candidate are called for interview at the center for special education.
