NSS Training College, Pandalam B.Ed Admission

NSS training college is located in Pandalam, Kerala, India. It is established in 1957 and is managed and run by Nair service society. NSS training college is affiliated by university of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.Accreditation from the National assessment and accreditation council with B++ grade. The college offers undergraduate level teacher training programme the duration of the Bed programme is one year and approved by Nationalcouncil for teacher education. The course aims at making the student proficient in the subject of their specialization. It develops the skills of efficient delivering of knowledge.

Eligibility for Bed admission:

Candidate must have complete graduation in arts or science discipline from recognized university with minimum 50 % marks. Post graduation candidate with 50 % marks are also eligible for the admission.

Admission procedure:

The candidate can obtained application form from the admission office and submit the admission form before the due date.

Selection Procedure:

The selection of candidate is done on the basis of Entrance examination. After examination the candidates are short listed as per ranks in Kerala Bed entrance Examination. The examination is conducted by the Kerala Government.

General Information:

The college offers following subject for Bed course English, Commerce, social science, Natural science, Geography, Physical science, Malayalam and Mathematics. The Intake capacity of college is 150 student. The examination has semester pattern structure. First semester classified into three are core subjects, optional subjects, and practical. Core subjects contain Theoretical Base of education-philosophical and sociological, psychological base of education. Optional subject contain Theoretical base of teaching and principles of pedagogical analysis. Practical contain Teaching practice for ten days, Health and physical Education, Work in laboratories, Work experience & Cultural programs. Candidate from another university is required to submit eligibility certification issued by the University of Kerala. If candidate can get admission with false documentation shall be summarily dismissed.
