MPBOU (Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University) was recognized under Act of State Assembly in the year 1991. The University broadcasts knowledge as well as quality education for different target learners with their age, region, gender, employment and status. Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University is the foremost University of the sate to provide easily accessible with quality higher education via ODL (Open and Distance Learning) system. One of main objectives of this University, as stated in Act, is the expansion as well as development of Higher Education through reaching unsearched via different flexible means appropriate for the open/distance education mode by using communication technology and emerging information. For this purpose, maximum study centres for Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University are in the areas lacking other higher education systems in area of 30 km. University also offers due importance to the special learners groups, coming from rural or tribal areas as well as those who are suffering from physical disabilities. 

The main objective of this University is providing easily available system for higher training and education, using different educational input modes like textbooks, lessons in print, practical classes, contact teaching, TV/ Video/Audio/Radio/ programs, using the satellite communication etc.  The University has developed systems that are proficient to provide quality training and higher education, even in remote or less developed tribal and rural areas. Eligibility

The applicant needs to have graduation with minimum 50% marks as well as 2 Years of Teaching Experience in the Madhya Pradesh State. The fee of the B.Ed course is Rs. 25000/-. The minimum time limit is 2 Years and the maximum time limit is 5 years.
