SNDT Women’s University is recognized as Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University. SNDT Women’s University is woman’s University, situated at Mumbai, in Maharashtra, India. SNDT Women’s University was recognized in the year 1896. SNDT Women’s University is having two campuses. Those two campuses are at Pune and Mumbai. The main campus of SNDT Women’s University is situated in Santacruz, in Juhu. SNDT Women’s University has different collages that are at diverse parts of the states Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Goa. SNDT Women’s University also has affiliation with UGC (University Grant Commission). The SNDT University provides 38 different postgraduate courses as well as 11 under graduate courses. SNDT Women’s University also provides Bachelor of Education program. It is a one-year course with having two semesters.

Eligibility 

Students who are fascinated to join the Bachelor of Education should undertake following rules for taking admission in the Bachelor’s of Education. Students have to pass preferred pattern with 10+2+3 or 11+1+3. They should have passing certificate to the 10th or 12th standard having any documented board or CBSE board. They should have minimum one major subject in the 3rd year like Mathematics, Physics, History, English, Environmental Science, Geography, Biochemistry, Applied Chemistry, etc.

Admission Procedure

B.Ed. has the entrance exam so all the applicants who desire to join the B.Ed. course, must pass the entrance examination with minimum of 50% marks. The applicant, who wants to appear in the B.Ed course, will get the forms from the university, they should return it inside 15 days for the institute, and they can announce results within a week.
