Panjab University Distance Learning BEd Admission

Panjab University is amongst the oldest Universities of India. It was established in the year 1882 at Lahore, which is now in Pakistan. The University campus is spreaded over 550 acres area in city of Chandigarh. The University has over 75 teaching as well as research departments with 15 Centers or Chairs of teaching with research in main campus situated in Chandigarh. The University has around 188 affiliated colleges spreaded all over Punjab with only one rural Regional Centre in Kauni, as well as 3 Regional Centres in Ludhiana, Muktsar, and Hoshiarpur. 

The instruction methods include printed study material for Self Learning Mode, Response Sheets, Assignments, Personal Contact Program, Video/Audio Lessons on the selected topics, and Dissertations and Projects in chosen courses.  In addition, it also provides different student support services including well equipped Library, Laboratories, postal library facilities, Computer Lab, Educational Media Centre, and hostel facility to outstation students. 

Eligibility

1. Bachelor's degree from this University or other recognized University, having minimum 50 % marks in total, offered the candidate, which has provided minimum two school subjects in first-degree level.    

2. M.A. / M.Com/ M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Hons.) degree from this University or other recognized University, having minimum 50 % in total, with combination of minimum two school subjects in first degree as well as postgraduate degree level.   

3.  B.A. degree from this University with modern Indian Languages as well as English only examinations, with minimum 50 % in total will be calculated  through taking the marks received in English as well as elective subjects together.

4.  Any additional qualification accepted as equal to the 1, 2, and 3 or above.
